ServiceTech can carry out a range of minor repairs on site, but also offer a factory repair service for more major repair work. Chemical protective clothing is repaired at the Respirex factory in Redhill, while decontamination, shelter, rescue and recovery equipment is repaired at the MFC Survival factory in Tonypandy, South Wales.

Typically patching of protective suits or inflatable equipment can be carried out on site and repair kits are also available for minor repairs of rescue equipment.

ServiceTech provide a rage of on-site testing and validation services, including;

• Inflation testing of gas-tight suits to EN464
• Air quality and volume tests to EN 132 (BS4275)
• Hose pressure testing to BS 6391:2009
• Lifting bag pressure testing

Servicetech PPE training courses are designed to ensure that personnel can effectively apply and use personal and respiratory protective equipment so that they do not endanger themselves or others through exposure to substances that may be hazardous. Each course has full written content with wearer trials and practical 'hands on' demonstrations of the equipment.

On site courses are directed by a Servicetech Qualified Trainer and cover:

• The effects of exposure to contamination
• Correct assembly, wearing and removal
• When and where the equipment should be worn
• Equipment applications and limitations
• How to determine that the equipment is fit for use
• Examination for deterioration and defect reports
• Correct cleaning and storage
